Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains what information ToolkitAI collects, why, and what happens to the text you paste into the tools. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

The short version

  • You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to use any tool.
  • The text you paste is sent to an AI provider to generate your result, then returned to you.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not build advertising profiles from what you type.
  • We use cookieless analytics, and advertising cookies only once ads are active.

Information we collect

Text you submit to the tools

When you use a tool, the text you enter is sent from your browser to our server and then to a third-party AI provider, which generates the result. The result is returned to you and displayed on the page.

Our server does not write your input to a database. It is held in memory only for as long as it takes to produce the response. One exception: identical requests are cached for up to 24 hours so that a repeated request does not consume additional AI quota. That cache stores the generated result keyed by a one-way cryptographic hash of the input, not the input itself in readable form, and it is not associated with you.

Important: because the tools use free-tier AI services, the providers may use submitted content to improve their models. Do not paste confidential material such as passwords, API keys, unpublished financial records, medical information or other people's personal data.

Technical information

Like any website, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical data needed to serve the page and to protect the site from abuse. This includes your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser's user agent string.

We use your IP address for one purpose beyond serving the request: enforcing the fair-use rate limit of 15 generations per hour, so that a single automated client cannot consume the shared free AI quota. The counter is stored in a temporary key-value record with a two-hour expiry and is not linked to any identity.

Human verification

To prevent automated abuse, the tools may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving alternative to a traditional CAPTCHA. Turnstile assesses whether a visitor is likely to be human using signals from the browser session. Cloudflare's own privacy terms govern that processing.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use two categories of cookies and local storage.

Essential

A small local storage entry records your theme preference (light or dark) and whether you have dismissed the consent notice. These are not tracking, are never sent to a server, and cannot identify you.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It reports aggregate page views, referrers and approximate country without setting cookies or fingerprinting individual visitors. Because it does not track individuals, it does not require consent in most jurisdictions, though we disclose it here regardless.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising. Once advertising is active, third party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
  • Google's own practices are described in the Google Privacy & Terms.

Where advertising cookies are used, we ask for consent through the notice shown on your first visit. Declining limits you to essential storage and non-personalised advertising.

Third parties we share data with

We do not sell personal information. Data reaches third parties only where it is necessary to run the site:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, edge functions, rate limiting and analytics.
  • AI model providers — the text you submit is transmitted to whichever provider handles your request so that a result can be generated. The provider that answered is shown alongside your result. Requests may be routed to Google, Groq, Cloudflare or OpenRouter.
  • Advertising partners — once advertising is active, Google and other vendors may set cookies as described above.
  • Affiliate networks — if you click a labelled affiliate link, the destination site and its network may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Because we do not operate user accounts and do not store submitted text in readable form, there is often no personal record to retrieve. Where there is, we will honour a request made through the contact page.

If you are in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Data retention

  • Submitted tool input: held in memory for the duration of the request only.
  • Cached results: up to 24 hours, keyed by a one-way hash.
  • Rate-limit counters: up to two hours, keyed by IP address.
  • Aggregate analytics: retained by Cloudflare under its own policy.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so it can be removed.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. AI provider credentials are held as encrypted server-side secrets and are never exposed in the browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, which is one more reason not to submit sensitive material.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
