Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ToolkitAI. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this service is

ToolkitAI provides free, browser-based tools that use third-party artificial intelligence services to generate written content from text you supply. The service is provided free of charge and without an account.

2. The most important limitation: AI output can be wrong

AI-generated content is produced by statistical models. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or confidently incorrect. The models behind these tools have no access to external facts and cannot verify anything they produce.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking and editing any output before you use it. This is not a formality. Do not rely on output from this site for:

  • legal, tax or regulatory documents or advice;
  • medical, health or safety-critical information;
  • financial or investment decisions;
  • any statement of fact about a person, company or product;
  • any use where an error could cause harm, loss or legal liability.

Where such content is involved, have it reviewed by a qualified professional.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to:

  • generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that sexualises minors;
  • create spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or misleading content intended to deceive;
  • impersonate a real person or organisation, or fabricate statements attributed to them;
  • produce malware, phishing material, or content designed to facilitate fraud;
  • generate academic work for submission as your own where doing so breaches your institution's rules;
  • attempt to bypass the rate limit, human verification, or caching systems;
  • access the service through automated scripts, scrapers or bots, or use it as a general-purpose AI endpoint;
  • reverse-engineer, probe or attempt to extract the underlying instructions and prompts;
  • resell, sublicense or wrap the service in another product without written permission.

We may block access, without notice, for any use that threatens the availability of the service for others or that breaches these terms.

4. Fair use and rate limits

The tools run on free usage quotas from third-party AI providers. There is a limit of 15 generations per hour per visitor. Limits exist to keep the service available to everyone and may be adjusted at any time. We do not guarantee any particular level of availability, throughput or uptime, and the service may be unavailable without notice when all configured AI providers are at capacity.

5. Your content and generated output

You retain whatever rights you hold in the text you submit. You grant us only the limited licence necessary to transmit that text to an AI provider and return a result to you.

As between you and us, you own the output generated from your input, to the extent such ownership is recognised by law. Note that copyright in AI-generated material is unsettled in many jurisdictions and may not be protectable at all. We make no claim to your output and offer no warranty that it is original or non-infringing.

You are responsible for ensuring that what you submit does not infringe anyone else's rights, and for not submitting confidential information belonging to yourself or others.

6. Our content

The site's own text, design, structure and underlying code are protected by copyright and remain our property. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site's written content without permission. Linking to the site is welcome.

7. Advertising, affiliate links and third parties

The site is funded by advertising and affiliate partnerships. Some links to third-party products or services are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase. Affiliate links are labelled where they appear. Commercial relationships do not determine which tools are recommended or how any tool behaves.

We are not responsible for the content, products, practices or privacy policies of any third-party site we link to. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any output will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the service or reliance on any output, including where such damages arise from an error in AI-generated content.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred United States dollars. Since the service is free, that amount will ordinarily be zero.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses and expenses arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, or from content you submit or generate and then publish.

11. Changes to the service and to these terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

If any provision is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
